Judy Stechert is a Principal with MedX3, specializing in new market and business development.

Judy has over 20 years of global marketing and management experience  in the medical device industry with capital equipment, implantables and disposables. Prior to launching MedX3, LLC, Judy was Vice President of the Center of Excellence for Business Intelligence at Edwards Lifesciences, between 2000 and 2003, and provided information and analysis for all of Edwards’ business lines, product and business development, and investor relations requirements.

Earlier Judy had served as VP of Global Marketing for Critical Care, which was then the Cardiovascular Business Group within Baxter International. Prior to Edwards, Judy worked for Ohmeda, Inc., ultimately as VP Marketing of Medical Devices, from 1988 to 1998, marketing disposable devices related to vascular access. She earlier served as the Company's Director of Strategic Planning and was Marketing Manager of Product Development for their Monitoring Systems division. Earlier, Judy was Director of Marketing for TransTracheal Systems in Denver. From 1982 till 1986, she worked for Mountain Medical Equipment in Colorado, ultimately as International Marketing Manager. Judy began her healthcare career in nursing, working in Denver, for Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center and the University of Colorado Medical Center, between 1977 and 1982.

Judy earned her BA degree in History from the University of Colorado. She received her Nursing Diploma from Presbyterian Medical Center in Denver in 1977, and earned an MBA, in 1983, from the University of Denver. Judy recently completed a two-year term as Chairman of a joint industry and medicine forum, the Coalition for Critical Care Excellence, associated with the Society for Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). She's also served on the Board of SCCM’s patient safety-focused Critical Care Education & Research Foundation, which provided her with a wealth of information regarding practice standards and trends in critical care medicine. Her extensive European and Asian travels have given her a more global perspective on the needs and opportunities in the medical marketplace.
